1. Transit Passengers To/From Non-EU Schengen Countries

Passport/Visa Requirements

Passengers travelling to/from non-EU Schengen countries (e.g., USA, UK, Canada) via CDG Paris are allowed to travel through the transit area. (No need for a Schengen visa for transit passengers). If the connection is within 24 hours, baggage shall be checked through to the final destination.

2.  Transit Passengers To/From EU Schengen Countries

Passport/Visa Requirements

Transit passengers travelling to/from other EU Schengen countries (e.g., Spain, Italy, Germany) via CDG (Paris) can enter France without using the transit facility and get the next flight to the final destination via external means of transportation i.e CDG VAL. However, it is recommended to use the internal transit facility of CDG to avoid any mishandling if the connection time is not too long.

3. UK/USA/Canada Citizens

Visa Requirements

UK/Citizens: No visa is needed for entry into France or Schengen Countries. Must show return ticket to exit within 90 days.

Additional Authorization (USA/Canada)

ETIAS travel authorization is required for entry into France or Schengen countries for USA/Canadian citizens.

4. Airline and Entry Requirements

Document Verification

As transit passengers shall pass the security check at the CDG Transit facility, Airlines will verify travel documents during check-in at Islamabad Airport.
